Do not include overly personal information like your marital status, nationality, and date of birth as they are not relevant.


Use the Canadian CV format which comes easy to the eyes.


Highlight relevant work experiences that are significant to your application.

A lot of Canadian universities assess the last 2 years of your undergraduate degree grades.

So, if you had high grades during these years, your entrance average will be higher.

your SOI is where you should explicate the transition.

Make sure to use:

•proper grammar

•proper punctuation

•proper paragraphs

For academic referees,

do not shoot yourself in the foot by using random persons or friends; representing them as your lecturers.  The admission committee will always do a check. And if you are guilty of this, it renders your application as an embodiment of LIES.


•Do not use academic references to who you aren't sure of their perception about you.

•Use only references who can vouch for your ability to do academic work.

•Use their work emails and not their personal mails.
